Choose failure alert recipients

Failure alerts tell you that a monitoring check needs attention. They are separate from Enable email testing, which checks whether the form’s own notification reaches the FormStatus monitoring inbox.

  1. Open the form’s Edit page and find Notifications.
  2. Leave Global selected to use the default notification behavior shown for your account.
  3. To choose recipients for this form, switch to Custom.
  4. Choose Add email and enter each recipient separately. Remove addresses that should no longer receive alerts.
  5. Save the form.

Use recipients who can act on a failure for that website. Review the list when a client changes ownership or a team member leaves. Email is the supported notification channel in this screen.

Open the form’s latest logs first to confirm that a check failed. Check the saved recipient list, spam folder, and mail filtering rules. Alerts also depend on the service’s email notification settings and delivery processing.

A missing alert does not change the test result. If the failure is specifically Email Receive, follow email not detected. For other problems, start with understanding test results.
