Where test notification emails go
When email testing is enabled on a supported WordPress form, the FormStatus companion plugin redirects the test notification to the monitoring inbox. This lets FormStatus check delivery without sending every monitoring submission to the form’s normal recipients.
This behavior applies to recognized FormStatus test requests. Normal visitor submissions should continue to use the form’s notification settings.
Test entries and connected systems
Section titled “Test entries and connected systems”Supported integrations include measures to prevent or remove test entries where possible. Behavior depends on the form builder, its add-ons, and the website’s configuration. Do not assume every connected system will ignore a test submission.
Use test data and check any CRM, webhook, payment, or automation integrations before setting up a workflow with side effects. Contact support if testing produces unexpected entries or messages.
A missing message in your normal inbox is not evidence that the email check failed. Review Email Receive in the FormStatus test details instead.
